This is Captain Droite in my Pikmin/Zexal AU. She is comes from the planet Papilloperative (The people are called Shikyakians) and is a hard working employee for Mr. Heartland. She works as a pilot for Heartland Industries, which is a deep-space shipping freight. Her pay is crap. 40 pokos a year when a BOTTLECAP FROM EARTH is valued at 100 but she makes do. She has a loving wife, Akari, and her two (biological) children, Anna and Fuuya.

Droite is really family-loving and since she often goes on deep space flights for months at a time, when she's home, she tries makes the most of it. She wakes Akari up for her work, she makes breakfast, gets the kids to school, walks the dog which is really: http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Umbral_Horror_Will_o%27_the_Wisp

On the first day of her month long vacation in 21 years of working, a meteor hits her ship, ‘The Butterfly’ and makes her crash land on a foreign planet, which she names ‘Heartland’ because the flora reminds her of Mr. Heartland’s unsightly green hair. Unfortunately, Shikyakians can’t breath oxygen and Droite can only survive thirty days on Heartland. However, she stumbles upon a red Onion which gives sprout to a red creature named Yuma. She must enlist the help of Yuma and other colours of his kind in order to make it home before she runs out of her air supply.

Pikmin come in many colours and have powers corresponding to said colours. Red who are fire resistant- Yuma, Yellows who jump high and are electric proof- Cathy, Blues can swim- Takashi, Purples are strong- Tetsuo, White’s have X-ray vision and poisonous- Tokunosuke, Rock pikmin are made of rocks- Shark and Pinks can fly- Kotori.

Note: Droite is the size of Haruto, despite being a fully grown adult, instead of being the size of a quarter like in Pikmin canon.

Extra stuff:

Droite (who is essentially the protagonist/the Olimar of the AU) is not the first alien captain to arrive on Earth; before her there are a few captains. However, each of them die. When each of the following seven captains died, they were infected by a multiple plants and bacteria in the environment, causing their bodies to swell and alter into what Droite refers to as Onions.The plant and animal tissue becomes symbiotic and kind of gives the 'captains' a second life as a plant/animal hybrid. The pikmin types are developed from the space suits and abilities of the individual captains and dispersed by the onions as physical traits.

The main organism is the Onion but to feed itself, it needs the Pikmin which is an extension of itself to feed it and help it reproduce. The Pikmin can communicate intelligently but only in 'hello', 'yay', 'hi', and 'kattobingu'. The collective pikmin have the personality of the original spacemen who made their onions. Curiously, they respond to sound, though Droite's whistle overrides whatever 'thought' they have.

Red Pikmin originally were Captain Yuma Tsukumo who came from the volcanic planet- Papilloperative- Since his suit was suited for higher temperatures, his Pikmin form is fire proof. Kattobingu makes Yumas great in offence. Droite does not know that red Pikmin are the remains of her brother-in-law, though she has noted the similarities; she had a nasty shock when she plucks her first Yuma pikmin and it screamed Kattobingu as he flips out

Yellow Pikmin originally were Captain Cathy Catherine who came from the technology advanced planet- Catopia- Since her suit was suited for withstanding high electrical currents, her Pikmin form is electric proof. She's also very good with working technology, or bomb rocks. Higher jumping abilities come from her species natural physiology and as a result, her Pikmin body has larger ears.

Blue Pikmin originally were Captain Takashi Todoroki who came from the aquatic planet- Zangura- Since his suit was suited for both land and sea exploration, his Pikmin form has gills, allowing him to breath underwater, as well as webbed fingers and toes.

Purple Pikmin originally were Captain Tetsuo Takeda who came from the planet- Knauss- Since his suit and body were both more weighted, his Pikmin form is stronger, slower and heavier. One Tetsuo can carry the same weight as ten normal Pikmin.

White Pikmin originally were Captain Tokunosuke Omoteura who came from the toxic planet- Serperous - Since his lungs breathe a more toxic air, his Pikmin form is poisonous. As the planet Serperous is a lot darker, Tokunosuke is smaller and as a result more quick than most, and his glasses have adapted to compound, red eyes.

Rock Pikmin originally were Captain Ryouga Kamishiro who came from the planet- Numeron- Since his suit and body were both more weighted and he was part rock, Ryouga's entire body is made of stone. His arms and legs are significantly shorter due to living as an amphibian in Numeron waters, moving by rolling around is easier.

Flying Pikmin originally were Captain Kotori Mizuki who came from the fairytale-like planet- Enchantia-Since she had wings, her Pikmin form also has wings. She's also very good with high altitudes and also is a good transporter. Her eyes are better than most and can see treasures or food lightly under the surface.
